Halfway complete. I've spent an inordinate amount of time to get it to this point, so I may let it rest for a bit.

Great Tits

Have done a decent amount of work in my bedroom the past couple days - it's been so cold downstairs in the studios! 

Been seeing a lot of these birds (Parus Major, aka Great Tits) around the residency. Small, chubby, bright yellow; so cute! The panels were dyed with fabric dye (thanks Maegan!) then I used a couple of those DecoColor paint pens and white and black ink.

Snow day! [Yesterday and today.] Plenty of snow on the ground already, but at least now it's powdery again. Much better for jumping into after an hour in the wood-fired sauna we've been frequenting.

Finland thus far

This country, town, and the Arteles facility are beautiful. So happy to be here. Finally starting to feel settled, a week in. Jet lag was (is) hard to shake, but getting better every day. Received one of two packages I mailed to myself thus far - they got stuck in customs separately. Fortunately I have plenty of materials (from my checked baggage and the first package) to stay productive in the meantime. Ahhh it is so great here, I feel so fortunate. I know I'll probably be ready to come home by the end of the month, and there is a particular person I'm already missing greatly, but I am really enjoying my time here. Big thanks to everyone who helped me make this work!
